Footprints
Two small pairs
of feet
toddling,
tottering,
falling one over
the other,
chasing one
another,
but always
running together
into far
stretches of time
alas go
different ways,
one leaves a
steady trail
on the golden
sands
of the world
beaches
while the other
runs helter-skelter
on the local
terrain.
